Ode to the Ipi - the No-Drama Verabschiedung

My dearest berlinerin friend - the Ipi - is today flying to Singapore.
Forever.
She got a fiance - soon to be an husband.
She got a great job.

She'll be soon an happy Indian expat in Singapore. ^_^ That's so cool ! ^_^

This morning we drank a coffee and a tea at Oberholz, and very quickly and coldly said goodbye to each other. Our eyes swollen.
We pretended it was not THE FINAL GOODBYE - just a coffee and a tea together. Better so.

Actually it's not THE FINAL GOODBYE :D
I can't wait to fly to Singapore :D

Today I handed her a cd with some cool music/indie-ish: Amari, Carmen Consoli, Subsonica, Baustelle, Battiato, Fused, Franz Ferdinand, Cibo Matto ed Elio e le Storie Tese.

I hope she will understand and like this music as I do - and remember.

Stamattina abbiamo bevuto un tè e un caffè all'Oberholz, e in modo caldo e distaccato ci siamo salutati. Con degli occhioni così.
Abbiamo fatto finta che non fosse L'ULTIMO ADDIO - semplicemente un caffè e un tè. Meglio così.

In realtà non è il L'ULTIMO ADDIO :D
Non vedo l'ora di volare a Singapore :D

Oggi le ho dato un cd con un po' di musica italiana/indieggiante: Amari, Carmen Consoli, Subsonica, Baustelle, Battiato, Fused, Franz Ferdinand, Cibo Matto ed Elio e le Storie Tese.

Spero possa capire e apprezzare questa musica come me - e ricordare.
